Add peel and juice, mix. Combine dates (figs) and nuts. Beat eggs until light, gradually ding honey and continuing to beat. Fold in flour. Add cracker crumbs, then date nut mixture and salt. Bake in greased 8 inch square pan at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes. Cut into these sugarless cookie recipes, though, even they can join in on : holiday stuffing sessions. Cinnamon Cookies 5 T. margarine 1 C flour Vi tsp. baking powder and milk or other liquid. Stir into flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle cinnamon over dough and knead in so these have a streaked appearance. Shape dough into Vi inch ball, and place on a cookie sheet. Flatten balls with a fork dipped in cold water. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or until edges are nicely browned. 1 1 chill till firm enough to slice, about two hours. Dough can be frozen up to one month.
