Makes about 16 cups of basic cookie mix. 10-1- Snack Cake Mix 8 C. flour 2 T. baking " tsp. soda Vi C instant non fat dry milk 2'A C vegetable shortening In a large bowl sift together all of the dry ingredients. Blend well, With a pastry blender cut in the shortening until evenly distributed. The mixture will re- semble corn meal. Label the mix and store in an air tight contain-- t er in a cool, dry place. Use with : cookie mix tsp. milk, more if needed 1 1 egg Sugar or frosting if desired Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet. In a large bowl combine the cookie mix, milk, vanilla and egg. Blend well and drop from a teaspoon onto the prepared sheet. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired. 2 minutes. Frost if deBake sired.
