Show 6B Lakeside Review South, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1984 LDS Missionaries To Serve, Return Lakeside area residents have accepted calls from the LDS Church to serve as missionaries. Elder Vondel Hathaway, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaMar D. Hathaway of 1646 W. Camelot Drive in Layton, has accepted a call to serve an LDS mission to the England Coventry mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Feb. 9. Elder Hathaway will speak at' g a farewell testimonial to be held on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 1:30 p.m. in the Layton 19th LDS Ward,' 1591 W. 1600 N. He is a 1983 graduate of Lay-to- n High School where he was active in drama and music, a member of the Laytones for two years and president of the a cap-pelchoir his senior year. He is a four-yegraduate of Layton LDS Seminary. He has held leadership positions in all of his LDS ward priesthood quorums. Elder Hathaway has been employed at Desarose since his senior year in high school. Elder KyU E. Nagel, son of Aage V. and Nola B. Nagel, 4482 S. 2250 W., Roy, has accepted a mission call to the London England LDS Mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center on Feb. 2. He will speak Sunday, Jan. 29, at 3:30 p.m. in the Roy 21st LDS Ward, 4530 S. 2525 W., Roy. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary at his home Saturday evening. Elder .Nagel graduated from Roy High School and LDS Seminary. He was active in Scouting and earned an Eagle Scout badge. Elder Brent Alan Chamber-laison of David and Janeen Chamberlain, has returned from the Japan Sapporo Mission Jan. n, 14. He will speak int sacrament meeting on Jan. 29, at 3 p.m. at the Val Verda Eighth Ward Chapel, 2652 South 500 West, Bountiful. , Elder Paul Bouwhuis, son of David and Phyllis Bopwhuis of Clearfield, has been called to serve in the LDS London, Eng- land Mission. Prior to his Feb. 2 departure for the MTC, Elder Bouwhuis will speak at the Clearfield 10th Ward Chapel, 300 N. 200 W Jan 29 at 10:50 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the mission-ar- y following the service. Elder Wilcox has served as a bishops counselor and stake missionary and other callings..
