Show Tuesday, October 25, 1988 Sun Advocate, Price, Utah 3A Environmental Protection Agency takes action against local businesses DENVER has issued - The U.S. Protection Agency unilateral compliance orders against owners of two Utah facilities for alleged of violations notification requirements for underground storage tanks. A civil penalty of $10,000 has been proposed under each order. The actions taken by EPA apply to the owners of underground storage tanks at Price Quick Lube and Wash in Price and at Food Town, located in Cleveland, Utah. There are three tanks storage underground at each site. EPAs orders allege that the owners of the two facilities failed to provide notification of the existence of underground storage tanks at each site as required under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
