Kohlmeier said the ladies will be matched with either the ladies from Ogden or Bear River in the opening round of the tournament. Playoff game set for Helper league Monday HELPER A one game playoff to decide the second half race in the Helper basketball league is scheduled for Monday night in the civic auditorium gym between Green River True-Valand Nielsen Meats. Jeffs joined the Neilsen team for the first time this year to play with local cagers Scott Nielsen, Bob Hyde, Steve Cartwright, Tom Davis, Gary Oliver and the veteran Arv Nielson who have been playing together for years. Western Boys Baseball Association will hold its 31st annual convention for member leagues this Saturday, March 7, at the Airport Hilton Inn in Salt Lake. Registration for the meeting will begin at the inn at 8:30 a.m. according to president Jay Decker, Salt Lake City. Decker said the convention will be called to order at 10 a.m. Just prior to the noon break, Dr. Gary D. Willden of the Utah Governors Council on Health and Fitness will address the gathering. Also prior to the break the agenda items concerning rule and policy changes will be brought to the convention floor by Walter Borla, Helper, chairman of the rules committee for the association. The largest part of the afternoon session is expected to be devoted to discussions and voting on the rule and policy changes.
