In the opening game of the weekend, the ladies were faced with the Lady Rebels from Dixie College. On the Eagle Court, the CEU ladies were downed Coach Lisa Stolk said the loss came mainly from a lack of rebounding on the Lady Eagles part. This, combined with the sharpshooting of the Lady Rebels led to the CEU demise in the game. Stolk said the only thing that really kept the CEU ladies in the freshgame was man Becky Barrus. Barrus had a good game and paced the Lady Eagle scoring with 28 points. She was followed by Carbon High product Beth Hussey, a sophomore, who added nine points to the Lady Eagle effort. She also led the CEU rebounding pulling down nine. Heather Hamblin, a Moot freshman, was credited with seven assists and three steals in 82-6- 0. points at district, region and state two court games - the game. On Saturday, the Lady Eagles were crushed 79-by the Lady Snow from College. Badgers We lost at the freethrow line, Stolk said. We lost by 34 and missed 24 from the freethrow line. Barrus pulled down seven rebounds while Hussey had six. Hamblin had five steals in the game. This weekend has the Lady Eagles on the road northbound.
