The glamour and mystery of the circus has made more than one youngster dream of running away to a life of fame and adventure. The Ford Brothers Circus visited Carbon County Friday evening with two shows as a fund raiser for the Price Jaycees. Carbon County residents turned out to watch the traditional elephants, clowns and other acts which have attracted crowds for decades. A glitch threatened to postpone the performances in Price. Conspicuously absent were the large cats normally seen in the show. In addition to the regular circus performances, the show featured a midway which to such treated circus-goer- s delights as giant snakes, a pony ride and mummies. The Jaycees have sponsored a number of fund raising activities in the local area. They have sponsored such activities as the annual Price easter egg hunt and a number of others.
