It is still not too late to make reservations for the St. Patrick Day party at the Magna Senior Citizen Center, according to Jean Orton, site director. Mrs. Orton noted that the party is being held tomorrow (Friday), because today the seniors will be visiting with the children at Magna elementary in an attempt to bridge the generation gap. So tomorrow the seniors will officially celebrate"the wearing of the green," with good food, colorful and entertainment decoratons. In keeping with the holiday, the food will be Irish Stew, boiled potato, buttered cabbage and rice pudding with a soda biscuit. The theme for the occasion will be "Going My Way," and will feature Irish songs by Walt Malmborg, popular vocal artist, as well as records by Bing Crosby. To make reservations, anyone age 60 and over can call the 2 before 1:30 center at p.m. The suggested donation by the County Aging Services is $1.25 per person. Mrs. Orton also Thrusday; sliced turkey, with mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, sliced carrots, apple pie and wheat bread, Friday. Using area scouts and senior volunteers, they intend to devote their efforts to the radius around the senior center. The menu for the coming week includes baked potato stroganoff, two-bloc- spinach, coleslaw, k tapioca pudding, wheat honey roll and milk, Monday; pork chow mein with rice and carrots, fruit delight and white bread, Tuesday; Italian zucchini steak with whole southern succotash, potatoes, sliced peaches and wheat bread, Wednesday; macaroni and cheese, polish sausage, buttered peas, fruit salad, a brownie and a roll, 250-069- noted that the center is making plans to be involved in a downtown cleanup campaign.
