Names of winners in the PTA Reflections contest have been announced at Sandberg elementary. Named as overall winners for the school are, in the literature division, Kristi Wahlquist, first place; Annelise Parkes, second; Jeremiah Bates, third; Jared Crowford, fourth; James Michael Leigh, fifth. In art, Shelby Hansen, first place; Matt Watkins, second; Charlotte Pound, third; Joshua Bates, fourth; Ryan Lyman, fifth. Winners in the photography division include Eric Lyman, first and fifth place; Ryan Lyman, Taylorsville Girl Serves As Assistant To Legislature second and third; Jeremiah Bates, fourth. In music, Marisa Werner, first place; Melanie Nesbitt, second; Carolyn Newman, third. Winners in each grade include Jared Crowford, Kjersti Parkes, Jeremiah Bates, Annelise Parkes, in the Christy Wahlquist literature Heather division; Smith, Ben Parkes, Charlotte Chanelle pound, Hutchings, Jamela Green, Matt Watkins in the art category. Grade winners in music and photography were also recognized as overall winners for the school. All winners were honored at a Reflections Tea held last night TAYLORSVILLE. Whenever Cherie Greenwood hears people discuss the bills passed (or not passed) by the 1988 Utah legislature, it will bring back memories of time actually spent on Capitol Hill, where she spent a day serving as a page assistant on the House floor. The Taylorsville high junior was one of 24 members chosen to the assistant page in participate for a day project which is part of the Utah State University Voter Awareness Extension Program. Cherie is very active in her local group, serving as a County 4-- 4-- H 4-- H Ambassador and as teen council president, and attended the Denver Round-ulast fall. For her day at the Capitol, she was assigned to work with page Arlene Okie and helped her in serving eight legislators, running errands and delivering flowers. "I sat on the bench with Glenn Brown, legislative president," she said. "It was fun and I learned a lot about how the government works and how bills are passed. "One of the most heated debates of the session happened that day, the one relating to the State Board of Education, whether to have a board or not," she remarked. "It was interesting, but p I missed a lot running errands, and had to just catch bits of the debate here and there as I passed in and out or waited for a business courses. She enjoys reading, and prior to knee surgery loved to run track and ski. She is the daughter of Val and message." Cherie also toured the Capitol building and met with Gov.
