In addition to worship and Bible teaching, Valley Assembly operates the Wee Willie Winkle Day Care Center and Valley Christian Schools. The church originated as Kearns Is Planning Review MAG Assembly of God in 1959. Rev. and Mrs. Robert J. Smith have served the congregation for the past 20 years. During this time, the church has grown consistently and added several new programs, which have necessitated the new construction, explained church secretary Lori Marino. The addition will provide new nurseries, offices, classrooms and an enlarged and redecorated auditorium, she said. Rev. Smith and his congregation are looking forward to dedicating the new facilities, and invite the community to share in this future event, she added. GRANGER.
