Names of student school body officers for the 1987-8year have been announced at Kennedy junior high. Andrea Lundell, daughter of Norman and Margaret Lundell, will serve as student body president. She has been active in basketball and volleyball and won the schools outstanding athlete award for 1985-88 6. Karla Mendieta, daughter of Mercedes Mendieta, who was chosen outstanding seventh grade girl and best history student, will serve as first vice president. Brandon Smith, son of Wayne and Jane Smith, was elected second vice president. He is involved in mixed cross chorus, country and volleyball. Jeannine Rushton, daughter of Randy and Lynda Rushton, will serve as secretary. She served as eighth grade PTSA representative and is a member of the gymnastics team. Serving as historian will be Travis Nelson, son of Kenneth and Terry Nelson, who is involved in volleyball and French club and was chosen outstanding French student.
