Today (Thursday) is the last day reservations may be made for a Hawaiian luau which will be held tomorrow at the Magna Senior Citizen Center. Carolyn Koch, director, said entertainment for the occasion will feature Vern Penrod at the organ. The menu will offer mai mai, sweet potato poi, Hawaiian blended vegetables, and Halakahika and Haupia, luau style. Bingo will be played after the meal. Cost of the afternoons entertainment will be $1.25 per person. Those who plan to attend may call the center at 535-720- Mrs. Koch also said the centers menu next week will be roast pork and dressing with gravy on Monday v spaghetti and meatballs Tuesday Swiss- - Steak on Wednesday, sweet and sour pork on Thursday, Hungarian meat loaf on Friday. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Mrs. Koch also pointed out that there are activities at the center five days a week, including crafts and ceramics every Monday, with ceramic firing going on all week long. Quilting is also taught. On Tuesday, the melodica band practices and Wednesday there is bingo. Oil painting classes are taught and the Silver Belles, a womens choral group, rehearses Thursday. A program and bingo follow the meal on Friday. Mrs. Koch said she is in the proan exercise cess of class that convenes every Wednesday at 10 a.m. West Kearns To Hold Signups KEARNS. Kindergarten registration will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 30 at West Kearns elemen- tary. Registration will take place in the e room. Children 5 on or before Sept. 1 and will need a legal birth certificate to verify age. Immunization records, with dates of dosage included and vision screening, will be required before the opening of school. Jordan North Stake To Hold Conference Sessions At Center Its not magic. But GRANGER. Conference sessions will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Jordan North stake center. Two general sessions of conference will be held on Sunday.
