Show Trinity To Begin Reflections Winners Named Lenten Season KEARNS. Lenten services at Trinity United Methodist church will begin with an Ash Wednesday service at 7: 30 in the sanctuary. Holy Communion is planned for the first Sunday of Lent, March 11, at both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Lenten denial banks will be distributed on Ash Wednesday and on Sunday, with families being invited to share the cost of one meal per week as a denial offering for the hungry. Other Lenten activities will include a spiritual life retreat from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on April 7. A prayer vigil prior to the retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to midnight on April 6.
