The sky can be over cast, clear, cold or sultry, but the aroma is there and I'd like to bottle it. Jimmie West was born on December 21st, 1906, the son of John and Mary Ann Cromack West who hailed from England. He was bom in a home located at 4500 South State where a shopping center is now located. Edna Florabelle Lewis (Flora) was bom on October 30th, 1910 to Henry and Mary Jane Blood Lewis, who were from the Midway-Kama- s catch the sun coming up over the Wasatch mountains and know that I could give up much in this world and still be happy, but one of the last things, is my window to the world . . . and dawn to me, is its finest hour. I Flora as a bride Barbara Stringham And Neil Dobson Marry Barbara Stringham became the bride of Neil C. Dobson on May 22 in a ceremony performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception that evening at the Old Meeting House honored the newlyweds. A barbeque at the Stringham residence was also held for the wedding party. Barbara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Briant S. Stringham of Murray and is a Murray high graduate. She has also attended the University of Utah and BYU in Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dobson of Logan are parents of the groom. Neil graduated from Manti high school, and is a Magna cum laude graduate from USU. He is currently a student at the University of Utah medical school and will receive his M.D. in June of this year. He has filled an LDS mission the Sft Wy ft Pierce In did. At their home, in the front yard, stood a fountain which belonged, at one time, to one of the wives of Brigham Young. The couple moved to Bingham shortly after their marriage where James operated a furniture and appliance store. They returned to Murray in 1940 where they currently reside. Mr. West has been a building contractor since 1946 and was the building contractor for the LDS Valley Center Ward where he was also the bishop. The ward is now the Millcreek 6th Ward and Mr. May Rites to Oregon. Becky S. Eyre, sister of the bride, was matron of honor while Beri Stringham, Kayla, Luanna, Trisha and Shelly Dobson were bridesmaids. Lindsay Eyre was flower girl and Jackie McMillan attended the guest book. Lee Nielson performed best man duties for Neil, and Brent Dobson, Briant and Bart Stringham and berry is in season, he buys cases and cases and shares them with all the family members. Each year at Thanksgiving (and sometimes more often), he buys a turkey for each household in his family and then he and his lovely wife promptly invite all the family over to their home for turkey dinner. Mrs. West has one of their eleven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren visit with them almost every single day.
