| Show J W KYLE HAS A RECORD PUNK last week s richfield sun records the following data of J W kyle s un enviable record J W kyle a man who married a salina young lady about eight years ago is wanted by the sheriff of emery county for passing worthless checks lately kyle appeared at green river so li citing business for a salt lake news paper he distinguished himself ac to a green river correspondent of the Cast ledale progress by proceed ing to imbibe intoxicating drinks of more or less potency and for a period of ten days maintained a pace that startled the inhabitants of the little town he borrowed money of many business men and finally paid bills with checks on a salt lake bank in which he had no funds one morning at an ear ly hour he braided a tram and pulled out for the west K ie was in salina last week where he again disappeared upon the arrival of a deputy sheriff from emery county when the officer discovered that the trail was growing warm he was in formed by a brother in law of kyle that he kyle had left for the north by train that morning the officer knew this to be false for he had been at the depot and he immediately began to question his informant most rigorously making it clear that he had best not at tempt to screen a criminal then the brother in law said that he had driven kyle over to redmond switch he boarded the tram for salt lake city this story too the officer considered entirely too gauzy and he came near placing the relative of kyle under ar rest the fact remained however that kyle had disappeared and the officer was obliged to leave salina without get ting his man salina people believe that kyle has not left that town but is in hiding and that he can be found with no great expenditure of effort sheriff abbot was down at salina last week and met kyle he was very busy at the time serving papers or he would have placed kyle under arrest and again he thought that kyle un less given a hunch would remain in sa lina indefinitely he telephoned the officials who wanted kyle that the ry was in salina and then he returned to richfield he however instructed the town marshal of salina to keep an eye on kyle but a day or so later kyle d from view I 1 t t |
