Goldbran Olsen, eighty-eigh- t yean of age, one of the oldest residents of santaquin, died at his home last Saturday. He had been confined to his bed for the past thirteen months, and death was due, more than any thing else to old age. He was born in Norway, January 26, 1834 and joined the Morman church on April 3, 1864. He was married to Ragn hild Anderson in 1865 and came to the United States the same year. His wife died fifteen yean ago. He was the father of eight children, of whom three sons and one daughter survive him. The children are Ole Olsen Olsen, Hirum Olsen, Joseph and Mrs. Oeorgena Cushing of Santa-quin- . There are six grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Santaquin - last Tuesday, Bishop Le Baron presiding. The opening prayer was by Charles A. Tietjen and the speakers were John M. Holladay, COLUMN Samuel B.
