ALSO SURVIVING S. ' grandfather, J. WILLIAM BURTON John William Burton, 91, of Layton died Thursday, April 19, 1979 in the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. FAMILY PRAYER was ofby Bill Bindrup;. fered JANET CORBRIDGE OLMSTEAD Mrs. Janet Corbridge Olmstead, 39, of 5381 South 2050 West, Roy, died Monday, April 16, 1979 at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City after an extended illness. SHE WAS born Sept. 23, 1939 in Layton, Utah, a daughter of Thayne W. and Sarah Parker Corbridge. On Nov. 6, 1958 she was married to Reid Howard Olmstead in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Olmstead had been assistant trust officer at the First Security Bank in Ogden where she had worked for 20 years. SHE HAD been active in the LDS Church and was a member of the Roy 4th Ward. She had been the Relief Society chorister and ing teacher. a visit- Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Melanie Olmstead, both of Roy; her parents of Layton; one brother and three sisters, Vern P. Corbridge, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Jay (Karen) HE WAS born Nov. 14, 1887 in Kaysville, a son of John W. CarSar- and Malinda Jane Adams Burton. On March 10, 1909 he was married to Emily Pearl Ware in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Sept. 28, 1958. He was married to Iona Huston on April L 1059. Larkin Patterson. Sparrow, 26, 1964. MR. BURTON was a retired employee of the Utah Power and Light Co. He worked for this company in the Layton area for 37 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church and at the time of his death belonged to the. Layton 12th Ward. He Eileen Nellie Alfreda Stanley Underwood, 73, of 287 North Lakeview Drive, Clearfield, died April 14, 1979 in an Ogden convalescent home. Pallbearers were Roy Olmstead, Alan Olmstead, Philip Olmstead, Brent Ogzewalla, Jay Thurgood and Bill SHE WAS born Feb. 16, 1906 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William Alfred and Emma Smith Stanley. On Bindrup. THE CARE of flowers was by the Roy 4th Ward Relief June Society. Dedicatory prayer was offered by Willard Parker. Terri Lynn Monroe of 667 West 2200 was Clinton, North, pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. 18, 1979 SHE WAS walking along Fairfield Road with two small children when a car struck the three from behind. No citations have been issued. The investigation is continuing. Also injured were Zachery Barber, 22 months and Christopher Barber, They are the sons of Scott and Mary Barber of 253 South 975 East, Layton. Zachery was flown from the scene of the accident by helicopter to the Primary Childrens Hospital. Christopher was treated at. the North Davis Medical Center and was released. TERRI LYNN Monroe was born August 13, 1963 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Jerry LeRoy and, Frankie Jo Horrocks Monroe. She had lived in Salt Lake City for eight years and in Clinton for seven years. She was a sophomore at Clearfield High School and a member of the Clinton 6th Ward. ' Surviving are her parents of .Clinton; two brothers and two sisters, Shane Monroe, Brian Monroe, Suzanqe Monroe and Stacey DeNelle Monroe, all of Clinton; grandparents, Mrs. Mary Horrocks, Layton and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Monroe, Layton. FUNERAL SERVICES were conducted Monday, April 23, at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Clair Childs He had been a farmer and a civil service worker before retiring. He lived in East Layton his entire life. He attended the Dawson Hollow School, Layton Elementary School and Davis High School. a Layton; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Malinda) Green, Layton. tal Service in the Clearfield office. She had also worked as a lab technician for the Smith Canning Co. in Clearfield. SHE HAD lived in Clear-- , field since 1945. Was a member of the LDS Church . Prelude and postlude music was played by Michael Eddington. A niece, Velma Butler, sang My God and I. The invocation was spoken by Bill A. Binicosa. THE SPEAKERS were Eldon Pace, Earl James and Jerry F. Legg. Bishop Eldon Barlow gave remarks. Velma Butler sang Beyond the Sunset. Ray S. Underwood, a son, gave the benediction. Interment was in the Clearfield City Cemetery. David L. Underwood, a son, dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Alan Roach, Kyle Stoker, John Underwood, Bob Turner, David Stoker, Fred Sandberg, Bill Francom and Larry Turner.
