Bowing up for the 01 Times Fiddler Contest is Hazel Bodily. of all ages from northern Davis County will gather with fiddlers from all over the United States on June 28, 29, and 30 at the Dee Events Center for the annual Golden Spike National Old Time Fiddlers Contest. THE EVENING performances will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday and the program will feature Junior and Junior Finals and the Country Gazette. The Friday evening program will feature Senior and General Division finals and the Country Gazette. The Saturday evening program will be the Grand Champion finals. Admission costs range from $4 to $6 per person. A special invitation to join the competition is extended to all fiddlers. Final registration will begin Thursday, June 28 at 7 a.m.in the east entrance concourse of the Dee Events Center. Contest rules can be obtained by calling 399-828- THERE WILL be competition in four divisions- Junior-Junio- r for contestants less than 13; Junior for contestants less than 18 but over 12; Senior for contestants at least 65 and General for contestants over 18.
