Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buhler and son Don; their daughter Mr. and Mrs. Steven Thatcher and their children of Salt Lake City traveled to Ucon, Ida. where they were overnight guests of another daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hughes and their family. Mr. and Mrs. Udell Green enjoyed a mini vacation at Stillwater in the Uinta Mountains for their wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kinsey were dinner guests in Salt Lake City on Tuesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Moline and family. President and Mrs. Eldean Holliday entertained at a family dinner August 26 after Fast Day meeting services in the Ogden 31st LDS Ward - namqd and blessed. Mrs. Hess was the former Kris Holliday. Larry and Kris came from Glendale, Ariz to have their baby blessed and named in the ward in Ogden where they used to live. Other grandparents who attended the special event were Mr. and Mrs. Wendall Hess. President and Mrs. Holliday entertained after the meeting for members of both families. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Thompson attended the funeral service of their nephew, Jay Willey, in Layton last week. Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Furgeson and son Jacob of Orem were visitors of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Benton. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sanders were their niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Foster of Ocean Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Neilson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sabin and family all of Kaysville and Miss Dalane Meeks of Bountiful spent the holiday weekend at Point Ponderosa at Bear Lake. Visitors of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Gailey were Mrs. Kathryn Stats and two children of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Thompson and two children of Salt Lake City were Saturday dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Thompson. They visited in Wellsville on Tuesday with his sister, Mrs. Anona Maughan. Mrs. Mary Walters accompanied her son, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walters and their family to Navajo Lake in southern Utah where they were guests of Jack Walters and their family for a week at Jacks summer home. Jack and family reside at Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Grimley of Koosharem joined them at the cabin for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin D. Kinsey and family; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Call; Mr. and Mrs. Craig Moline; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Miller; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kinsey; and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kinsey and all of their families held a family reunion and summer picnic at the Calls cabin in Ogden Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sanders attended the golden wedding anniversary open house in Salt Lake City Tues- day evening at the Garden Park LDS Ward Chapel honoring Apostle and Mrs. Sterling W. Sill. Debbie Major and Chris Weaver of Kavsville and Lisa Robinson of Farmington are attending Ricks College in Rexburg, Ida. this fall. Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Merrill of Homeland, Calif, were guests at dinner Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. DeLamar Palmer. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sprague; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Peterson; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Porter; Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sprague; Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Sprague and their families spent the holiday at Rock Port Dam water skiing and boating and also at Park City on the Alpine Slide. Mr. and Mrs. Hiney J. Bishop spent three days in Liberty last week visiting with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bishop and family. Mr. and Mrs. Vene Collett visited in Ogden at the McKay Hospital with his sister, Mrs. Velma Jackman of Mountain View. She has been seriously ill.
