KNEEDY has been active in both civic and church positions throughout his life. He keeps active and is engaged in his many hobbies and interests. He was born Feb. 28, 1895 in Fresno, Calif. His parents MR. KNEEDY worked as a mechanic while living in Jack-so- n Hole, Wyo. from 1912 to 1937. He was later employed with the Rocky Mountain Packing Corp. in Murray, Utah for eight years. The Kneedys moved to Kaysville owner and operator of the Davis in 1937 and he became County Cold Storage plant in Kaysville. His son, Larry, MR AND MRS. STEVE W. THOMPSON Exchange Vows Miss Christine Shaw became the bride of Steve W. Thompson in ceremonies in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Jan. 25 with Pres. Dewey C. McKay officiating. THE BRIDE is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Shaw of 2810 North 700 East, North Ogden. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Reeder of Fruit Heights and Harold K. Thompson of Ogden. Following the ceremony, the couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Lion House hosted by the groom's parents. That evening they received guests at a reception at the North Ogden Fifth and Sixth Ward Cultural Hall. FOR HER nuptial events the bride chose a floor-lengt- h gown of satin styled with a full skirt, elbow length sleeves and a collar accented the neckline. Appliqued lace roses en- hanced the gow n. Her fingertip MRS. RICHARD E. GARCIA veil of silk bridal illusion was caught to a matching flower crown. The bouquet consisted oof burgundy roses and rose buds accented with statice and red velvet streamers. Attending the bride was Miss Diane Oberg as maid of honor. Earlier in his life he enjoyed entertaining scout and civic groups with a knife and ax throwing demonstration, a skill and hobby he learned from the late movie actor, John Wayne. It was while he was living in Jackson Hole that John Wayne was making his first western movie there. In the picture the actor killed the villain by throwing a knife. Mr. Kneedy, 17, was intrigued by the act in the scene and by being there watching them practice for hours, became a friend of the actor. He decided he could throw the knife too.
