IMMERSED IN FUN Teacher as Fruit Heights chairman Mrs. Ruth Hill Harvey of Fruit Heights will retire this May from the teaching profession. She will have completed 28 years teaching second and third grades in Davis County. The last 17 years she has been in Burton Elementary teaching third grade. of Tyler Perkins. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in elementary education. She plays the piano and the clarinet and has studied voice. SHE WAS A member of Pi Beta Phi sorority as well as Lambda Delta Sigma. She is currently a member of Delta i Farmers Insurance Group AUTO FIRE LIFE Andrew Barker, Myron By SCOTT LISTON the mothers march for birth defects. Her four daughter are Mrs. Katherine H. Sterling. Mrs. MRS. HARVEY graduated from Davis High during the depression years. Later she graduated from Weber State College and Utah State University. She has taken postgraduate classes from the University of Utah and BYU. She is a member of the American Association of University Women. She is also a charter member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Pi Chapter, a society for women educators. SHE HAS served three times as faculty representative and one term on the Davis Education Executive Board. Mrs. Harvey has also been active in the LDS Church. She served as Primary president.
