A lifelong resident of Farming-toshe was a member of the Farmington Third Ward. She n MR. FISHER was a figure in the Davis County area as both a news e photographer and a photographer for the past 29 years. He had served as the official Davis County Fair free-lanc- photographer and as the photography department chairman of the fair for 24 years. He had also been a photographer for the Deseret News when his wife was a correspondent for that newspaper. He was employed as a civil HE SERVED on the Davis County Board of Adjustments n for 5 years and as public 1 infor-matio- of the American Cancer Society, In- Cemetery. ffaiStv Rites Held For Crash Victim i had two years of college in police science and served in World War II and the Korean War and received two Purple Hearts. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. SURVIVING are his widow of Kaysville; six sons and one daughter, Melvin F. Steab, American Fork; Harold C. Steab, Ogden: Raymond Mark Steab, Kenneth L. Steab. He was a former member of the Farmington Lions Club and was chairman of the Farmington troop committee of the Boy Scouts of America for seven years. Perkins terment in Farmington City Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Kaysville 16th Ward Chapel for Harold Frank Steab, 55, of 278 South 100 West, Kaysville, who was killed in an airplane crash June 27, 1981 in Spanish Fork, Ut. Mr. Steab w as one of two men killed in the crash of their light plane while returning from a search for a Utah woman w ho was lost in the mountains of Colorado. MR. STEAB was bom Nov. 24. 1925 in Lewistown. Mont., a son of Christian Frank and Louise Wonderlich Steab. He married Emma Lois Morrill April 18. 1952 in Lewistown. Mont. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived in Lewistown for 28 years, also. Farmington. Kearns and Kaysville. MRS. PERKINS was bom Nov. 27. 1895 in Fielding. Ut., a daughter of William Josiah and Lucy Adclia Robinson Coombs. She married William R. Perkins Sept. 13, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in Farming-to- n and lived in Kaysville for 60 years. She attended Davis High School, was a member of the Kaysville 20th Ward, had been a Relief Society visiting teacher for 57 years, a primary Savage, Ogden; Mrs. Frank (Beverly) Ferrante, Kaysville; Mrs. Kenneth (Marsha) Rack-haRoy; 37 grandchildren and 39 Also, one brother, William R. Coombs, Ogden; sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Ann) Brimley and Mrs. W.J. (Elsie) Bowring, both of Salt Lake Citv. THE FUNERAL was held under the direction of Lindquists Mortuary with Bishop George F. Snell officiating. Family prayer was given by Harold C. Perkins; prelude and postlude music by Birchall Perkins; In The Garden" was given by Sharlene F. Johnson, accompanied by Birchall Perkins; invocation by William J. Wright. Remarks were made by Bishop Snell and speakers were Richard C. Bowman and W. Eldean Holliday. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Christensen April 23, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survived by his wife, Farmington; sons and daughters, Edward R. Fisher, Bothwell, Ut.,; Mrs. Darryl L. (Ellen) Trickier, Highland, Ut.; Mrs. David J. Fisher, Farmington, who was a photographer for the Davis County Clipper from June 1978 to December 1980, died of a heart ailment June 28, 1981 at the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. Kaysville Mrs. Edith Lewis and her daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Jones, attended the funeral of Mrs. Larena Lewis in Roy June 1. The deceased was a sister-in-laof Mrs. Edith Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. David E. Benton, Mr. and Mrs. Ray McCarty and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Judy, all of Idaho Falls, Ida. were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Benton on Father's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bowman hosted a patio party at their home June 16 for the employees of their store. Mrs. Suzanne Willey and children of Fairfield. Kent Seegmiller underwent surgery last week at Davis North Medical Center. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis F. Seegmiller. Miss Nava Frant of Tel Aviv, Israel, is spending a week as a guest of Miss Nancy Prigmore and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Prigmore. The girls vacationed in Jack-so- n Hole, Wyo. and Yellowstone National Park for a few days. Mrs. Dixie Owens was honored on her birthday June 24 with a special treat arranged by her husband. She was entertained at her home by the Lagoon Show band playing some of her favorite tunes. Haven and Christine Barlow and children of Rochester, N.Y. are visiting with her mother, Mrs. Ella Dee McGlinch, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Haven J. Barlow in Layton. Mrs. Sarah Giles attended the dance review of her grand- daughter, Kristie Giles, at Taylorsville on Tuesday. The family later spent time at their summer cabin in Samak near Kamas. Thirty neighbors attended the patio dinner farewell at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Prigmore. They were honoring Dee and Clare Goldsberry and their family who are moving to Phoenix, Ariz. to make their home. Mrs. Lois Nalder underwent surgery last week at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Paul DuiTant, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Coulam, Mr. and Mrs. Varge Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Prigmore and Mr., and Mrs. Phil Krebs all enjoyed an outing last Friday as they rode the Hcber Creeper to Bridal Falls in Provo Canyon. William S. Bennett spent the past month in Monterey. Calif, at a special school for the government. Mrs. Bennett flew to California to join him and they enjoyed sightseeing in southern California before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Bowman entertained 60 members of the Hadlock Family at their home June 13. The Hadlock family are descendants of Mr. Bowman's mother. Mrs. G. LaVirl Stewart is returning to Utah from Mesa, Ariz. to make her home. She will live in Salt Lake City and plans to spend time doing research in the genealogical library. She and her daughter, Susanna, plan to make a trip to England and Scotland for additional research. Her son. Gary, is writing books on Utah and will spend two months of his sabbatical year in Utah writing. He will take his family to England later in the fall to study and write. Clo-war- d; great-niec- Gary's wife, Diana, is famous for her romance novels and classics she does to delight the younger generation. Mrs. Stewarts daughter, Susanna and children, will arrive July 21 to be with her mother in Salt Lake City. This family, was former Kaysville residents. Mrs. Leon Miller of Claremont, Calif, has been visiting daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Jones, attended the funeral of Mrs. Lewis brother-in-la- Clarence Wingate, held Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fisher of Iowa were the guests for a week of Mr. and Mrs. Garrett, Centerville, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Garrett on Fathers Day. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Liston held a family birthday picnic dinner at Gailey Park June 18 for Rick Liston, Debbie Liston and Mrs. Nita Thomassen. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day returned from Soda Springs. Ida. where they enjoyed a stay with their daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis and family. They had a good week of fishing in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Lue McCann and sons vacationed a week in Park City. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Holt, her parents, joined them for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Hal M. Cox, Orangeville, Ut.; were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Killian for two days. Mr. and Mrs. Gail Toone and three daughters of Denver, Colo, are visiting with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Thompson. Tammy Snell, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George F. Snell, accompanied a group on a survival trip for a month in Boulder, Ut. The group will return July 3. Bishop and Mrs. Gary Porter attended a convention in Toronto, Canada and will return home July 3. His mother from Weston. Ida. is staying with the children while they are away. John L. Kneedy has been ill and last week underwent surgery at Davis North Medical Center. His daughters, Mrs. Lorene Hansen, Tabiona, Ut. and Mrs. Edith McLaughlin, Reseda.
