He moved from Canada to Layton where he completed his schooling. He worked for sugar companies in Lewiston, Ut., and Scottsbluff, Neb., for 15 years. He had lived in Layton for 50 years. He was a high priest in the Layton 4th Ward and had been branch president in Scottsbluff, Neb. Surving are his widow of Layton; sons and daughter, Gene O'Brien, Kaysville; Jerry OBrien, Bountiful; Bonnie Soutter, Salt Lake City; II grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. ' f ' ? BILL O'BRIEN - LAYTON A.L. (Bill) O'Brien, 76. of 712 Cowley Drive, died March 2. 1982 in Layton, He was born June 4. 1905" in Raymond, Alberta, Canada, a son of William and Chloe McMullin O'Brien. He married Ruby Amanda Swiny-ai;- d in the Logan LDS Temple. ALSO SURVIVING are one brother and five sisters, Jack O'Brien. Funeral services were held at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Oren L, Kimber of the Layton 4th Ward officiating. Interment in Washington Heights Memorial Park. Ida., a son of Edwin David Edward and Mary Jane Morley Vest. HE LIVED in Parker. Ida. before moving to Ogden at the age of 9. He graduated from Ogden High School. He served as bishop of the Ogden 22nd LDS Ward. During his 22 years of living in Layton, he was an active member of the Layton 8th LDS Ward. , 7. irvt j VON MARCH 29. 1933. he married .Mary. Her mother underwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Laser and sons, Curtis and Neal, and daughter. Carol, attended the missionary farewell of Elder Randy Burgoyne of the Orchard Ward in Bountiful Feb. 28. , Elder Burgoyne is the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Laser and will serve in the France Toulouse Mission. Mr. and Mrs. John Laser and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Laser and family also attended the farewell. Mrs. Lois Stephens was honored on her birthday Feb. 27 at a family dinner at the home of her granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Yeaman of Layton. He resided in West Layton for 22 years and spent one year in Logan. He and his wife have resided in Syracuse for the past five years. He was a graduate of Layton High School 97 . While residing in Layton he was an active member of the Layton Second LDS Ward and had been a 1 1 Sunday School teacher. YMM1A presidency member, activities director, and a home teacher. DON PARKER PAGE Don Parker Page, 28 years of age, who resides at 2468 South 1000 West, Syracuse, died on Saturday, March 6, 1982, at St. Benedict Hospital in Ogden, of respiratory fai- lure. He had been hospitalized for the past months. MR. PAGE was born April 25, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah and was the son of Orion Parker and Itha Parker Page. OnJunel. 1973, he was mar HE IS survived by his widow of Syracuse; his parents of Layton, two brothers, Alan Parker Page, of Layton; and Mark Parker Page of Price, Utah. Also surviving is a grandmother. Mrs. Katherine Parker Thurgood of Layton. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Syracuse Third Ward Chapel, with Bishops Counselor Norman J. Bennett officiating. THE FAMILY prayer was given by Don DeWitt and the prelude and postlude music was played by Randy Gailey.
