GETS DIVERSIFIED AWARD Livestock rsified Production Proficiency Award program sponsored by A. 0. Smith Harvestore Products, Inc. of Arlington Heights, Illinois and Wayne Feeds Division, Continental Grain Company of Chicago, III. Myron is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Casdorph. h LAYTON - Myron of Layton, was named the western region winner of -- Cas-dorp- the Diversified Livestock Production Proficiency Award at the 55th national FFA convention in Kansas City, Mo. last week. THE AWARD is cosponsored by O.A. Smith Havestore Products, Inc. of Arlington Heights, 111. and Wayne Feeds Division, Continental Grain Co., of Chicago, III. Myron was born and raised in the city and loved animals. With the help of his father, he was able to join the FFA with a project of feeder pigs. Starting with only two pigs, he now finds himself renting 20 acres of land and raising 30 hogs, 15 sheep, 9 calves and three Arabian horses. EVERY year, Myron added on to his project thus keeping the building process alive. He believes that faith and desire to succeed, are the keys to any successful project. Myron is currently serving an LDS mission in Illinois and is planning on attending college at Utah State University in Logan and pursuing a degree in animal science.
