Show & XY Dinah Shore Returns To Television © With ‘Special’ On Teenage Fancies Dinah Shore, America’s first lady-of song, returns to television after a year’s hiatus with the first of four nighttime hourlong specials on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. on Channel 4. Three daytime specials also are on her schedule. Under the overall title of the “Dinah Shore Special,” this first nighttime special will view the young generation through the eyes-of Dinah Shore and her special guest stars, David Janssen, George Gobel and Rose Marie. Most of the current teenage fads and foibles will be explored by Dinah and her guests who include Dinah’s daughter, Missy, and Rose Marie’s teen- aged daughter, Nupe. Over forty teenagers will ap- pear. on stage to dance the Watusi and the swim, current dance fads. As the teenagers dance, Dinah will wing a standard to the big beat.
