She is the founder and director of the National Council for Better Education, an organization only two years old with already over 30,000 members nationwide. She is the author of the book, NEAr Propaganda Front of the Radical Left. Miss Reed said she and the National Council for Better Education are working for a reform of the public school system. Their plan, called educational enterprise zones has been adopted as part of the National Republican party platform, and promises to be a viable alternative to the present government monopoly over education. The boys are being tutored by head coach Walt Criner and staff for a week of intensive training in the basics of offense and defense, with special emphasis on the passing game. The staff includes Snow coaches Paul Tidwell, Gary Crowton, Rich Condie, E.J. Caffaro, guest coaches Herb Criner from Boise State, Buck Gent from Manti, Paul Messersmith from Richfield, San Juans Morris Swensen, Lanny Littlefield from Las Vegas, Glen Partridge from North Sevier, and former Snow coaches Jim Glazner, now at Nevada Reno, Dale Henry from San Diego State, and Dale Hoy from Seattle.
