Susan Chadwick, daughter of Vern and Carole Chadwick of Manti, received her Young Womanhood Recognition Award Sunday, March 22. Susan is a member of the Manti Third Ward and has been very active in both church and school activities. She is currently a senior at Manti High School. She has participated in volleyball and basketball for four years. She has been in the school orchestra for three years and has played the violin for eight years. In April, Susan is traveling to California with Cogans high school orchestra. Susan has served in the presidency of her Laurel Gass and also in the Beehive and Mia Maid Classes. Obituaries Alida J. Breinholt Liddiard Alida J. Breinholt Liddiard, age 82, passed away March 20, 1987 in Murray, Utah. Bom November 11, 1904 at Redmond, Sevier County, Utah to James Christian and Anna Margaret Frandsen Breinholt. Married Elmer William Dick Liddiard, Salt Lake City, June 2, 1924. He later died. Married Cliff Parker, August, 1975, later separated. She is survived by children, Mrs. John (Colleen) Sprecher, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Paul (Anna L.) Curtis, Salt Lake City; a son and daughter-in-law- , Gail and Bonnie Liddiard, West Valley City; preceded in death by an infant daughter and a son.LaRae, member of the 3rd Marine 21st Division, killed February 25, 1945 on Iwo Jima; also surviving, six grandchildren and three three sisters, Macel Anderson, Ephraim; Nelda Jorgensen, Salina; Viola Blaine, Boise, Idaho. Funeral services were held in Salina, Utah. Interment in Redmond City Cemetery. Two Ephraim scouts get Josephine Domgaard Josephine Domgaard, age 76, passed away March 16, 1987, in Bountiful, Utah. She was bom October 6, 1910, in Manti, Utah. She was a daughter of Annie Christine Peterson and Joseph Domgaard. She was a member of the Church, and survived by nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Wednesday, March 18, at 3 p.m. in the Manti City Cemetery under the direction of Lindquists Bountiful Mortuary. This location was ideal for the March 14 ceremony for these two, who have spent more time on that field as four year Manti High football Wedding vows exchanged Sherilyn Loveless becomes Mrs. Mark Boynton Darald and Sherron Boynton announce the marriage of their son Mark Boynton to Sherilyn Loveless on March 24, 1987 in Bountiful, Utah. Mark graduated from Manti High School in 1981 and is a recent graduate of Utah State University engineering. He is presently employed by Hercules Inc., Aerospace Division, Salt Lake City. Christina is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Anderson of Gunnison and Kurt is a son of Mr. and Mrs. LaKay Shaw of Ephraim. Sherilyn is the daughter of Evelynn and James Loveless, Bountiful. She is presently attending Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City majoring in drafting. She is also an accomplished musician. An open house will honor the couple April 4, 1987 at the new Senior Citizens Center, 45 West 100 North in Ephraim from 4 p.m. All friends are cordially invited to attend. An open house in their honor will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on March 28 at the Wisteria. Everyone is invited to attend. Elizabeth celebrated with dad, mom and sister, Emllee, at home in Jerome, Idaho and then traveled to Centerville, Utah for an additional party the following day with the extended family. The baby was born Tuesday, March 3, 1987 in Casper and weighed 7 lbs. Pleased grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Reno of Casper. Baker of the Ephraim Third Ward has accepted a call to serve the Church of Jesus Saints in the Christ of Latter-daJapan Tokyo South Mission. He will have the opportunity of speaking in the Ephraim Third Ward Sacrament meeting on March 29 at 2:50 p.m. in the Ephraim South Church. Mark is the son of Roger and Pam Baker of Ephraim. He is a graduate of Manti High School and is presently attending Snow College. Even though a graduate of Manti he spent one of his high school years at the School in Coolmine Community when Dublin, Ireland during 1984-8the Baker family lived in Ireland. While in Ireland he accepted two short-termission assignments. One assignment was in Dublin and the other in Belfast. He also assisted missionaries as needed with evening assignments. Mark is a third generation Eagle Scout and worked at Camp Steiner in the Uinta Mountains for two summers. His assignment at Steiner was as canoeing and sailing instructor. players than at home. At the ceremony both mothers gave tributes and their dads presented them their Eagle awards. After the awards the scouts presented Bishop David Willmore, their former scoutmaster, with a statue of a Bald Eagle. Bishop Willmore gave the scouts the Eagle charge and Robert Trythall spoke commending the boys on scouting and athletic achievements. Dale LeBaron, Assistant Professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University, and former president of the South Africa Johannesburg Mission, will be the speaker at Friday Forum on March 27, 1987, at 12 noon at the Ephraim LDS Institute of Religion. The title of his talk will be, Revelation on Priesthood an African Perspective. The public is invited to attend.
