The sunrise service is one of several special events the Sanpete Bicentennial Committee will sponsor this summer, Jane Braithwaite, county chairman, said. He was one of the original members of Moroni Feed Co. He served on the Sanpete County ASCS Board for many years and was selected King Cowboy for 1977. Helena served as postmaster of Wales for 18 years. Both have been active in many church and civic callings. Stanley and Helena were married invited June 2, 1937 in the Manti LDS Temple. They are the parents of two daughters, Mrs. Jay (Helen) Rigby, Newton, Utah, and Mrs. Kim (Katie Jean) Larsen, Ephraim, Utah. They have 11 grandchildren. Manti News Briefs Edwin Nielson went to Woods Cross on Tuesday, July 7, 1987, to attend the funeral of his sister, Johanna Melinda Nielson Weekes. She was 87. She was the only sister of Edwin's. Reading Science Fun A n open house will be held to honor Mrs. Erma Olsen on her 80th birthday, at the Manti Senior Citizen Center on July 25th from 2 to 5 p.m. She was born on July 25, 1907 to David and Mary Peterson Nielson in Manti, Utah. She attended school in Manti and graduated from the high school with the Class of 26. She married Rulon M. Olsen, from Gunnison, on May 14, 1926. He died June 14, 1961.
