The Manti Grocery, owned and Jean Crisp of Morris by Spring City, opened for business Tuesday, after several months of construction on the new building. Mr. and Mrs. Crisp will be joined in the management of the business by a brother ofMorris and his wife, Richard and Marlene Crisp, who are moving here from Virginia. The new building, located at the comer ofMain Street and Union Street, covers about 12,000 square feet and cost an estimated $750,000. The Manti candidates will compete with those from a dozen Utah University, Brigham Young University and Utah Valley Community College at General Scholarship Elizabeth Anderson English and Literature schools for te tct below in social science. The eighth graders also scored above the national norm in all subjects. They equalled the state norm in math, reading and science, were below the state norm in English and social science. South Sanpetes fifth graders scored above the national norm in math, but below the national norm in the other four areas. They also scored below the state norms in all subjects except math. The scores are based on Standard Achievement Test results.
