The Templars got a bye in the first round of the regional e playoffs and will play the Region 10 team in the sixth-plac- Lady Templars blank South Summit MHS Lady Templar softball team shutout their South Summit rivals last week by a 20-- score and took their third place ranking in Region 9 into the regional playoffs this week. 0 They were scheduled to take Parowan, Region 10s No. 6 team, Tuesday afternoon on the on Manti field. 20-- 0 A win Tuesday and theyll play a Region 10 qualifier, probably Richfield, Saturday afternoon at 2 at the Manti athletic complex. Summer tennis gets underway June Summer tennis instruction starts on the week of June 1st (next week) and will extend to July 8th, the day before the initial performance of the Mormon Miracle Pageant. The cost of instruction is $1.50 per lesson to defray the cost of tennis balls. Aslightly different agenda is set for this year. An evening 1 recreation session for adult and high school age players will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursdays in Manti. Instructions in Ephraim will be conducted on Thursdays only, but interested players are invited to participate in instruction more often, if desired, in Manti. A Little League Boys Team will compete in the Central Utah League on Monday mornings. This involves boys who have not turned 15 before August 1st, 1992. Below is a brief description of the schedule.
