Lund, formerly of Ephraim and a longtime railroad worker, died Friday, March 25, 1994, in San Leandro. He was 62. Bom in Salina, Utah, Mr. Lund was a railroad telegrapher for 44 years for the Denver & Rio Grande daughter, Kimberly Houghton of Ocala, Florida; four sons, Stuart J. Lund of Dublin, Bruce Leonard Railroad, Western Pacific Railroad, and Union Pacific Railroad. He was very active in the Telegrapher-Clerk- s Union. He is survived by his wife of 39 gas; and eight grandchildren. He was born July 3, 1922 in Ephraim to Evan Chris and Myrtle Emma Jensen Larsen. Shana Medford Joins Air Force Shana Medford, daughter of Philip S. Medford, enlisted in the Air Force's Delayed Enlistment Program today, according to TSgL Fred Martin, Air Force Recruiter. Shana will be a 1994 graduate of Manti High School, and is scheduled Neal and LaRaine Kellett of Moroni announce the marriage of their daughter Ann Jeanette to Glen S. Olson, son of Richard and Norma Olson of Ephraim. The parents will host a reception for them the evening of April 8th at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Moroni Stake Center. All friends and relatives are invited. Ann Jeannette is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and North Sanpete Seminary. She was active in volleyball and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was chosen Miss Moroni of 1991. She has been attending Snow College and will graduate this June. Glen is a graduate of Manti High School and Manti Seminary. He was active in football, baseball, and wrestling. While at Manti High, he was a member of the National Honor Society. Glen served in the Billings, Montana Mission. Since returning home, he has been enrolled at Snow College. The young couple plan to continue their studies at Snow College. LaVern Marx June 24, 1947 in Ephraim. They were later divorced. He served in the Navy in World Warn. He had worked on the fam- ily farm and worked in Salt Lake City as a custodian. He was a very caring person and very thorough in everything that he did. He is survived by two sons and one daughter, MarKay Jackson and husband, Patrick, Scott Larsen, Clyde Larsen and wife, Nancy, of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; one sister, Bernell Hansen and husband, Milton, of Ephraim; one brother, Billy Larsen and wife, Virginia, of Enoch; numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Ephraim Cemetery with military honors. Lynn Ralph Tatton Lynn Ralph Tatton, age 74, of Manti, Utah, died April 1, 1994 in the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St George, Utah. He was bom February 11, 1920 in Manti to Ralph B. and Viola P. Tatton. He married Susie Fields in Salt Lake City on November 30, 1945. He graduated from Manti High school in 1938. He was a member of the Utah National Guard and a veteran of World War II. His working life was spent along side his wife in the clothing manufacturing business. He is survived by his wife of Manti, three children; Dr. James A. Tatton and wife, Kristine, of Nephi, Mrs. for enlistment in the Regular Air Force on September 16, 1994. Upon graduation from the Air Forces six week basic training course near San Antonio, Texas, she is scheduled to receive technical training in the General Aptitude Area Enlistment Option. Shana will be earning credits toward an associate degree in applied sciences through the Community College of the Air Force while attending basic and technical training schools. Kevin .Barton to Receive Eagle Michael (Lynda) Wintch of Manti, and Mrs. Tracy (Karen) Christensen of Sl George, Utah, fourteen grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, sisters; Gweneth Peterson, Spanish Fork, Utah, Mrs. Burt (Ruby) Cardwell, Norco, California, Mrs. Bennie (Norma) Heath, Salina, Utah, and Mrs. Frank (JoAnn) Gray of Salt Lake City, Utah. Preceded in death by mother, father, two sisters, and one brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 1994, at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing 2 hours prior to service in the Manti Stake Center, 295 S. Main Street, Manti. Burbidge of Sandy, Utah are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Marci to Chad Earl Nell, son of Mr. & Mrs. William A. Mickelson and the late A. Glade Nell of Manti. The marriage will be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on April 6th after which a wedding luncheon will be hosted by the parents of the groom. An evening reception will be held in their honor at the home of the bride's parents. Kevin Barton, son of Donald K. and Barbara Sue Barton, is ready to receive his Eagle Scout Award. He invites his friends and all Fifth Ward members to his Court of Honor which will be held Thursday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m. at the Manti Stake Center. If Kevin looks a little younger in this picture, it is because it was taken in 1992 with a real live eagle; one he and Chris Keeler rescued and nursed back to health before turning it over to the Utah Wildlife Resources. For his project, he organized the repair and painting of the barricades used to help control traffic during the Mormon Miracle Pageant. USU Alumni Association Will Marti attended Hillcrest High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the tennis team. Chad is a graduate of Manti High School where he lettered in both tennis and basketball He and his brother Russell won the BYU tennis invitational for 2 consecutive years. Chad served an LDS mission to San Antonio, Tfexas. The young couple will graduate from Snow College this spring and plan to continue their schooling at Utah State University.
