Citizens are reminded to place their trash containers within one foot of the edge of our new streets. This will make it possible for the trash truck to pick up the containers without driving on the shoulder which may damage City streets. Containers must be pulled out by 8:00 a.m. in order to assure pickup. Once again, place your trash container within one foot of the edge of the new oil streets. Individuals who fail to place the containers in this location risk not having the trash picked up at their residence. Please let friends and neighbors know about this requirement and let's keep our new streets in good condition for as long as possible. Because of recent popular demand. Officer Tausinga has been extremely busy throughout the State on similar speaking demands. We feel very fortunate to have him available on these dates we have listed. A few weeks ago the Ephraim City Council was confronted by some very concerned citizens asking what Ephraim is doing to prevent our city from becoming a rural retreat for hard-cor- e type, gang members of the andor any type of gang activity. We assured this citizens group that we had already arranged for two major public awareness meetings; the first of which has already been held three weeks ago in the Snow College Humanities Building. The attendance was considerably less than we had hoped. More on this meeting will be detailed in next weeks article. Y100 !i0Qc' |
