Show announces graduation exercises CUCF Paul To Those Whom it Should Concern: I would like to go on record as a voice against this application procedure for obtaining what has been in the past an exciting and yearly tradition of Says: going hunting. This procedure has been a confusing, painful, aggravating process. If the political decision was to eliminate the average Utah hunter, this is a great start! I cant imagine how many man hours were spent in coming up with this complicated procedure, because it took a lot of mine to figure it out. Is it meant as a cover up" to bedazzle the average hunter so they wont realize that their past traditions for each individual hunt with their different aspects are GONE? Did the decision makers consider that they have successfully killed famand eliminated the possibilities of our children experiencily ing the different joys that came from the different types of hunting experiences and the seasonal feelings that came with each year's calendar? Did mother-sor, they weigh heavily the father-soetc., etc. will that me was never the For reason not the experience happen? booty for enjoying the thrill of hunting. We will miss the supplement to our freezers supply, but more than that I condemn their decisions for what theyve robbed from my family traditions and anticipations that we loved in our different hunting trips. I have contemplated this decision and if, in fact, it was to increase the herd numbers (and not the almighty S numbers): I have to wonder - who for? By the time they do this, traditions will have died and other activities (good or bad) will have taken their place and the younger generations, who didnt grow up with these joys, will no longer care! Sincerely. Connie Hare. Homemaker. Mother. Hunter We are born with two ears so we can hear both sides of the story. n, An optimist keeps the motor running while waiting for his kids. Student Rush" prices are for all available seats for all plays in all theatres from now through the end of the 1994 season, September 3: how- - j ever, students must purchase these tickets in person at the box office window no sooner than 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the show. It is important that everyone realizes the time restraints on these dis- counted tickets," said Douglas T. Kirchner, Festival marketing and public relations director. They will not be available before 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the production, and showing up earlier than that will simply ; make it harder for our box office personnel to serve all our patrons." Gunnison Valley Bank, t May I quickly apologize for the upside down pages in last week's Salina Sun, the double ads in the papers and this week's fairly generic newspaper. We are operating with extremely short hands. By that I mean that Charmaine Lewis is no longer with us. Neither is Scott Bischoff. This leaves Bob Bahlmann and myself, as well as our supporting wives and children. We have installed answering machines on the telephones and would ask that you leave a message for us! We will get back as soon as we can. Please continue to call us if you are not getting your newspaper, want to place a classified ad or have a news item for us!
