I talked to Coach Hugentoblcr about which individuals of our fair Varsity team that I should inter-vic- w lie gave me a few names and here arc my interv iew s vv ith them Connor Thompson was the first on my list and he seemed quite excited when I told him that I was interv lewing him for basketball. He said that the season started out really slow but started to pick up and after Christmas they became a really good team. Everyone knew what they were doing and where they were supposed to be and worked well as a team. The fan support was really good, especially at the game against Gunnison, the fans were really great at that game and we jrrrirrH ftlS'i Practices were really good and everyone worked hard I le said that they couldn't have done w ithout such a great coach. Connor said that Hugentoblcr has done really well for just his second year I le also said that he was really proud of the younger kids and that we had a great future for our sports with them When asked who the one player who brought the team up through all of the bad times he said without a doubt and with no hesita- - Baseball season on the rise By: Dana Walk Spring is draw ing near, the scent of grass and baseball is in the air. The trees arc beginning to bloom and this means baseball season is here. Coach Olsen is really excited about the returning Seniors. He expects great defense and pitching, that will help them compete for the State This year's Championship. Senior players arc Connor Thompson. Kurt Keiscl, Joey Calhster, Trent Murray, Marc Brown, and Sam McCoy. They have expressed real excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season and know that it w ill be their best. Their first home game will be a double header on Saturday March 28, against North Summit at 12.00 and 2 00. The team has a practice game in Beaver on Wednesday, March 18, at 3.00and5.00.
