He was a wonderful husband, father and lived a life of serv ice to others. He was greatlv loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He served in the Navy during World War II and retired (Lynn) Willardson, Ephraim; Jana (Brent) Belliston, Provo; Reid (Nina) Bean, Richfield; and DeeAnn (Roger) Purser, Draper; 8 grandchildren, his mother and a sister, Joyce Jones, Hemet, California.. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 20. in the Cedar Hills LDS Chapel Interment was in the Cleveland City Cemetery, Emery County, under the direction of Anderson Mortuarv, American & Sons Utah Mini Pivots, Inc. . He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Samuel George Petersen; brother Clifford Olav Christian Petersen and a sister, Melba Louise Petersen.
