STATEMENT of the UTAH STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION April 28 Our sincerest sympathies are extended to those who have lost family or friends in the tragic events of the past month. We are all beneficiaries in our community d, of your goodness. Cidnee Beazer Ephraim Appreciates EMTs To the Editor: April 27th just prior to midnight, I was having a difficult time breathing. My wife was about to drive me to Gunnison Valley Hospital when I had a near fatal asthma attack in my driveway. She called 911 for an ambulance and within 5 minutes Joe Shelley arrived with oxygen. About 3 minutes later the ambulance arrived and after several minutes my breathing stabilized. Joe Shelley, Kirk Smith, Pam Koller and Ray Johnson then transported me to Gunnison Valley Hospital. Upon arrival I had a second attack and Dr. Inouye, with the help of respiratory specialist, Mark Woody and nurse Lisa Olsen, was able breathing again. ambulance crew sure everything to stabilize my All this time the staved to make turned out all right. from Emery High School in 1995, after w hich he attended Snow College and served as Freshman Senator. After his first year at Snow, he served an LDS mission to Toronto, Canada. He then returned to Snow for the 1998-9- 9 school and valedictoyear graduated as rian. Erika Miller from Hyrum, Utah will serve as Activities Vice President. She graduated from Mountain Crest High School where she served as Junior Class President. Jen Fabrizo was elected as a Sophomore Senator. She is from Sandy, Utah where she attended Jordan High School. Nate Evans will also be a Sophomore Senator. Nate is from Kearns, Utah.
