She was born July 7, 1900 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Feaarink W. ¥ DEWEYVILLE — Myrl Alvin Norr, 78, died Wednesgay, January 15, 1992, in and Etta Harris Voll. She was reared and educated in Ogden and was a graduate of Ogden High School in 1919. She is survived by nephews and nieces from Utah and Calif., and her dear cousin Cora Bass, Idaho Falis, idano. Memorial services will be Monday at ll a.m. at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836 36th St. interment, Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Ogden Rescue Mission, 2781 Wall Ave., Ogden, UT 84401. Mr. Norr was reared and edu& 3 : cated in Deweyville, onan Bear River High School, and attending Utah State Agriculture College. He has worked as a Carpenter in Ogden and in the Bear River Valley. He had also worked at Ogden Defense Depot. He was presently serving as a member of the Box Elder County Historical Committee. He was an active member of the Riverview LDS Ward and had served a mission to the Eastern States, 193436. He had served as counselor and superintendent in the ward Sunday School at two different times, as Scout Master, Sunday School, M Men, and Elders Quorum and High Priest teacher, bishop's counselor, bishop in Dew- eyville Ward 1962-67, high counselor, high priest group leader, Stake Sunday School President and board member, family history library director, 1983-90. At the present time, he served as family history consultant. Surviving are his wife of Deweyville; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Joe Knudsen, Bennion; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; Ada Turner four PLEASANT VIEW — Ada Elizabeth Diecker Turner, 88, of Pleasant View died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1992 at the Country Meadows Nursing Home of of Deweyville; Reed and Darlene Norr, causes incident to age. She was born July 31, 1903 in Seneca, Kan., a daughter of William H. and Katherine Kamper Diecker. She married Loren D. Turner, Aug. 30, 1930 in and their spouses, Charles and Nola Norr, Wayne and Minnie Norr, J.D. and Bevery Norr, all Tremonton; a sister, Cleo Dixon, Brigham City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, at 12 noon in the Riverview-Deweyville Chapel, 10750 N. State Hwy 69. with Bishop Cleo R. Bunderson, officiating. Friends may call Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Burial in the Deweyville Cemetery. Arrangements by Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home. Topeka, Kan. He died Aug. 14, 1964. She attended the Church and was @ member of the Methodist Book Review and Ruth Circle. She was also a member of the Union Pacific Old Timers Club. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, and she loved to travel. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joan (Robert) Niernberger, Pleasant View; Mrs. Marilyn (Robert) Westmoreland, Roy; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Clara Lawrence, Kensington, Kan. She was precededin death by one sister and one brother. He and his wife served together in the Kentucky-Tennessee Mission. He was a sealer in the Ogden LDS Temple. He was loved and revered byall who knew him. He was born September 4, 1943, in Ogden, a son of a Kay and Sarah Alien Goff. He married Annette Kay Dobie. They were later divorced. He was lifelong resident of Ogden. was a member of the LDS Church. Mr. Goff was a mechanic and had worked at Big O Tires. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Scott Boyd Goff, serving an LDS Mission in South Carolina; Miss Stacie Goff, Riverdale.
