Micheal Payne and his wife Sandra of 1316 Marilyn Drive, Syracuse, collided with a vehicle driven by Gertrude Marks, 84, of Salt Lake City when, according to the Clearfield Police report, the Marks vehicle pulled in front of the Paynes. .The Paynes infant, Margo, was reportedly on Mrs. Paynes lap at the time of the accident. The infant was transported to the Davis North Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Micheal Payne, driver of the vehicle, was also taken to Davis North for head injuries. He was treated and released. Mrs. Marks fractured her right clavicle. She was taken to Davis North where she was treated and released. Car Hits House A vehicle knocked out of CENTERVILLE child a playing in it rolled by gear down a hill and into a neighbors residence last Friday, police said. The child was slightly injured in the accident that caused an estimated $5,000 in damages to the home and vehicle. The front of the residence belonging to Ted Anderton, 251 E. 200 N. was damaged along with several trees at the residence. ;The vehicle, which suffered $500, in damages had rolled approximately one block before hitting the home, according to the Centerville police. Injury Reported CLEARFIELD Two vehicles were involved in an accident at 700 S. 1000 E. Friday, police said. A passenger, Mrs. Dezella Wilde, 64, 238 22nd, Ogden, was injured. .The accident involved cars driven by Jeanette Northrope, Clinton, and Dezella McFarland, Ogden, at the intersection. Neither driver was injured in the accident. Mrs. Wilde was treated for multiple contusions and abrasions at Davis North Medical Center then released. Suspect Arrested LAYTON Layton officers arrested a man Monday who is wanted on felony charges in Missouri. Lt. Morton Sparks of the Layton Police Department said Kerry E. Rowell, 28, was picked up at 1:30 p.m. Monday on a traffic stop. Sparks said police were aware of his presence in the area. Rowell, wanted for homicide in Kansas City, Mo., was arrested on a fugitive warrant aud taken to Davis County Jail to await extradition. College Program Names Director A new director of the joint cooperative mas- ter of education degree program at Weber State College jointly operated with Utah State University has been appointed. He is Dr. Roger C. Mouritsen, formerly coordinator for teacher education and certification for the Utah State Board of Education. The appointment was announced by Dr. Leon R. McCarrey, deputy commissioner and director of academic affairs, Utah State System of Higher Education. Mouritsen replaces Dr. Donald K.
