Also by pooling information, individuals are kept up to date and currently informed on all or more nearly all of I thought the offers available.. But you say belonging to a newsletter did that?- - ' It does to a certain extent. But there is ho way a newletter published in say South Dakota can know that during the week oi April 27 a local store in Ogden, Utah is having double coupon days. Coupon clubs make not only national information readily availbable but more important they keep you in' formed of LOCAL events. Lets say for clarification that you want to start a coupon club. You get eight or ten of your friends and neighbors together who are either seriously doing this or would like to get started but just havent this figured out whether they want to or not. You dicide to . . years. . Last week I said that I would try to give some general hints about coupon Clubs but first I would like FRANCES BURDICK Chances are the main topic during the first meeting hard it is to save the necessary for the refund offers. And for one person alone, it is difficult. It takes weeks sometimes several months to collect all of them for the really good offers. You thought you were the only one who was becoming discouraged by this. But in talking with the others who attended that first meeting you found that they were having the same problem. Plus they had spotted offers that you had not seen. days offered by stores They knew of double-coupo- n that were not too far awary to be of benefit to you if wanted to drive there. Last week you had spent some of your coupons for face value where if you had only known that store was offering double couponing that more. even saved day, you could have Also', if you had been able to shop with a couple friends and they had purchsed the same items, you could have swapped qualifiers and a couple of you is how proofs-of-purcha- could have sent in for refund offers much sooner. Besides it would be much more fun to shop with friends and see who could spot the most offers in the store. You can include several fun projects in your coupon club agenda. There would be no dues except to bring a set number of coupons or refund offers for swapping to each meeting. As a group you could subscribe to a newsletter and all of you would have access to the information. You could trade off driving to the store. You could have one person baby-si- t with the children of two or three members while they went shopping and they would do her shopping for her. The ideas are endless. The main purpose of the club is to get the most out of your efforts. By working with others with the same objective, you are supported in your efforts.
