Clearfield Kiwanis Plan Fund Raisers The CLEARFIELD Kiwanis Club of Clearfield members hope that you have had a Merry Christmas and wish you a happy and prosperous New Year. According to Pon Myers, Post Commander, food baskets filled with ham, turkey, several staple items, toys and treats were distributed on Christmas eve. A Christmas card containing money to be used for other necessities was given to each family. Many items and cash dona tions came from members of the VFW. The VFW has participated in the Program for ta several years. The VFW also was host for over 100 youngsters at the annual Christmas Party held Dec. 18. As is the custom Santa listened to the childrens requests and then presented a sack of treats to each youngster present. The children were also treated to a Christmas film.
