Married Karen E a Anderson May 3, 1900 in Reno, Nev Robert was a former resident of Duchesne prior to moving to Castle Dale in 19S6. He w orked as a boiler fireman at the Dugway Proving Grounds and also served in the U.S. Army Robert loved rodeo, going for rides and enjojingthe scenery of the deserts. He li ed for his family and worked very' hard in overcoming many obstacle throughout his life. He was bom Feb. 2, 1932 in Bethlehem, Pa., to Elek and Ilka Legat. He married Joan G. Legat on Sept. 3, 1976 in Price. Ernie was a tree trimmer. He w as employed by several trimming M. of 75. Born April 23, 1924 in Elmo, the son of Daniel Richard and Nina Bervl Oviatt Grundvig. Married Lula Hartzel May 14, 1945 in Salt Lake City, later solemnized June 10, 1955 in the Manti LDS Temple. He w as an active member of the LDS Church and served as a great teacher. Retired from Eimco Min- companies to clear trees from power lines for the power company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and especially his grandkids. He is survived by his wife, Joan of Wellington; his stepchildren, John Davenport, California; Lori special dog and companion, Chiquita. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Beth. A celebration of his life will be Thursday, Ffeb. 10, 4 to 6 p.m., at Roberts home, which he felt was heaven, under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Price. Everyone is invited and the family would ask that friends use the entrance down the driv eway and at the back of the home, located at 197 West 100 North in Castle Dale. This is a free service ofiered by the Volunteer Action center of Emery County. The Vial of Life makes it easy to have necessary and important medical information ready at hand in case as- sistance is needed. This assistance can come in the form of emergency personnel such as EMTs responding to your home in a emergency, home health and public health nurses who are providing care for members of your family, or it can be used to update your medical history when you take it to your physicians office or the emergency room during your visit. Emergency medical per- sonnel as well as home health nurses and public health ney. Once you receive your Vial of Life, fill in the answers to the questions in clear legible wTiting; roll the forms tightly and place them in the vial and put the vial in the right corner of the top shelf in the refrigerator. Place the Vial of Life magnet on the door of the refrigerator. Be certain to update the information as changes occur. It is your responsibility to complete the updating. There is an additional form with specific address instructions that should be filled out and mailed to the Emery County Sheriffs Office. This information will be placed in the E911 system to automatically alert ambulance personnel of your Vial of Life.. The Vial of Life is a free service offered by the Volunteer Action Center of Emery County and is just one more step in reaching our goal of creating a healthier community. It contains forms VAC at which will provide answers to important questions regarding your medical history and your desires for advanced directives. The personal choice in the Living Will Act of 1985 identifies specific alternatives called advanced directives to aid an decision making about future health care. The special Power of Attorney is a written statement which gives legal authority to another person or agent to make health care decisions oh your behalf when you are unable to participate in decision making due to illness or injury. The Living Will is a written statement which describes your personal wished about how much treatment is desired in case of terminal illness or persistent vegetative state. The Medical Treatment Plan is a written statement that summarizes your andor your familys discussion regarding medical treatment. Resident of Price since 1993, where she resided at the Mountain View Meadows. Dottie loved crocheting and mak- ing afghans for her family and friends.
