LaDawn is the daughter of Tim and Linda Turnee, and Jerry and Shirley Fry of Price. Jerry is the son of Matj Hochle of Price, and Bob Hochle of Des Moines. LaDawn is a credit assistant for John Deere Credit in Johnston, Iowa, and Jerry is the Iowa State Sales and marketing Director for the high school internet network in Des Moines. Jeff and Teri Grange of Huntington have the pleasure of announcing the marriage of their daughter, Kandie, to Jason Sanchez, son of Bob and Goldie Sanchez of Price, on October 7th. A reception in their honor will be the same evening at the Holiday Inn in Price starting at 7 pm with dancing to follow. Kandie is a 1998 graduate of Emery ligh School. Jason graduated from Carbon High in 1994. The couple will make their home in Colorado. Forest Van making a stop at Huntington Elem cRain Thc:Liing Planets Rain Fbr-e- st Van, a statewide educational outreach program complete with live jungle creatures, will be coming to the Carbon and Em- ery County area. The van, brightly painted with native animals from the Amazon Rain Forest, will transport living creatures such as macaw s, snakes, poison arrow dart frogs, and insects in customized habitats. Jayceen Craven, Outreach Director for The Living Planet Aquarium und her volunteers will bring the RFY to Hunting-to- n Elementary on Wednesday. Sponsored by Utah Power and The n, RI-- will be making free presentations to public and private schools throughout the state in an effort to offer students an interactive and hands on science lesson. The Living Planet and science educators worked together to devise a specific lesson plan ed for students. Trained volunteer educators K-- G will conduct rain forest presen- tations and distribute as part of the Rain Fbrcst lesson. The mission of The Living Planet RFT is to educate a diverse audience about the wonders and mysteries of the Amazon by bringingpart of the wild jungle into the classroom.
