Ander- son of Emery, graduated with honors from the Western College of Auctioneer at Billings, Mont. While at the College of Auctioneering, Ryan learned all phases of the auction business. Ryan, along with his own auction business will join the sales staff of the RMA Sales Management Company. Eagle rank. He is the son of Phil and Pauline Jensen of Perron. Dereks project was erosion control above Millsite Reservoir. A Court of Honor will be held on May 25 at the Ferron Stake Center at 7 p.m. Derek Ray Jensen Chandler Tanner earns Eagle Scout Amy Lyn Campbell graduates from SUU Chandler Tanner has earned the Eagle Scout Award. He is On May 4, Amy Lyn (Swasey) a member of Troop 305 of Orangeville 1st ward and will have & Court of Honor on May 26 at 4 p.m. at the Tanner residence. Chandler is the son of Mark and Nanette Tanner of Orangeville, and the grandson of Delile and Elda Hinkins of Orangeville and Harvey and Afton Tanner of Blackfoot, Idaho. Ashlee Allred accepted into honors program Ashlee Dawn Allred is the daughter of Jed and Kim Allred of Huntington. Ashlee has maintained a 4.0 GPA, is Southeastern Utahs general sterling scholar, senior class secretary and graduated with her associates in science on May 3 from the College of Eastern Utah. Campbell realized a longtime dream by graduating Magna Cum Laude from Southern Utah University in Cedar City. She received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement. Amy has been a lifetime resident of Price, graduating from Carbon High School, and is fondly nickname The Walker by many who know no other name. She and her husband, Rick, reside in Price. She is the daughter of Roger and Lana Swasey , and the granddaughter of Alden and Afton Swasey, formerly of Amy Lyn (Swasey) Campbell Wellington. Adrianne Drake graduates from U of U Spending time with her nephew, Dalton in Primary Childrens Hospital when she was in seventh grade inspired Ashlee to become a doctor. Ashlee has worked diligently towards that goal In her spare time Ashlee enjoys Nintendo, roller blading, shopping, reading and is Harry Potters number one fan. Ashlee was accepted into the honors program at Westminster College which she will start in Cadet Joseph Cadet Joseph I). Wilson will 1 with his on June graduate bachelor of science degree. He majored in military arts and science, minored in civil engineering and w'as on the dean's list each semester recoil ing the Gold Wreath. Cadet Wilson was in company E2 all four years at the academy and held various position such as platoon sergeant, squad leader and military development officer. He w'as also on the brigade staff (S4) for the first semester of 20012002. Cadet Wilson successfully passed Airborne School in 1999. His military summer of 2000 was spent doing CTLT at Ft. Stewart, Georgia, as a Platoon Leader where he was responsible for the training, mon rale and welfare of a platoon. He was also responsible for the maintenance and readiness of 13 tracked and wheeled vehicles worth in excess of $8 million. This past summer Cudet Wilson was a platoon leader for Buckner 2 at West lWnt where he led the d-year cadets through military training. Cadet Wilson was a member fifty-ma- secon- of the Black Knights Cadet Sport Parachute Team. He participated in the Collegiate National Skydiving competition each year, which is held during August. She will leave behind her dad, mom, two brothers, two sisters and 10 nieces and neph- ews, who wish her well. Samuel Priggemeier receives commendation Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Samuel J. Priggemeier, a 1987 graduate of Emery County High School in Castle Dale, recently received a letter of Commendation while assigned with Strategic Communications Wing One, Tinker Air Fbrce Base, Okla. Priggemeier was recognized for his superior performance of duty. Displaying remarkable dedication and initiative. Priggemeier consistently performed his demanding duties in an exemplary and highly professional manner. He is a graduate of Southern Utah University, Cedar City, with a BS degree. Sierra Club selects scholarship recepients The Sierra Clift) announces the local recipients of its 2002 Colorado Plateau Scholarship Program. This years recipients are Kirk Player of Cleveland and Rachel Wilske of Green River. Each of the winners received a $2000 scholarship for each year of a four-yecollege program, for a total of $8000. Scholarship applicants were evaluated on their academic record, involvement in their communities and a written essay. Essays were given the highest marks if they discussed environmental problems and proposed solutions. ar Emery County Progress Local News, Local Voice Adrianne Bradley Drake Adrianne has graduated from the University of Utah with her bachelors of science in communications with an emphasis in public relations. Graduation took place at the Huntsman Center on May 10. She was on full scholarship all four years while playing on the womens volleyball team and was on the deans list several times also. Adrianne is the daughter of Reiner and Teresa Bradley of Castle Dale. R. Eric Sanders named to Dean's List Christmas break. He took third place in accuracy during his Cow (junior) year winning the Bronze medal for West Point. Cadet Wilson was one of five Firsties (Seniors) to sky dive into the stadium for the last season football game on Nov. 10, 2001. He proudly carried the United States flagon his jump, landing perfectly on the academy crest at midfield. R. Eric Sanders, of Castle Dale, a current 9th trimester student in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, has been named to the Colleges Deans list for the 8th trimester. To be eligible for the Deans List, a student must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in all studies of the respective Immediately following graduation, Joe und his two roommates will be traveling across the United States making stops at each of their homes and of course, on to Las Vegas and California for a few days. Joe reports to Ft. Penning, Georgia on Aug. 1, for 16 weeks of Officer Training school and then nine weeks of Ranger school.
