Delbert Tluirgood Services Held Fri. SHE WAS bom Feb. 9, 1897 Conejos, Colo., a daughter of Juan and Josefa Salazar. On Feb. 4, 1918 she married Manuel Trujillo in Conejos, Colo. He later died. in Delbert Thurgood, 81, 438 4000 W., West Point, died on Monday, Sept. 19, 1983 at the Humana Davis North Hosilpital following a N. SHE HAD lived in Layton since 1945. She was a professional seamstress. She was a member of the St. Rose of six-we- lness. MR. Till RGOOD was born May 31. 1902 in Syracuse, the son ot Samuel J. and Martha Ann lolman 1 hurgood. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Martha Singleton, Mrs. Ray A. (Bessie) Dahl, and Miss LaVaun Thurgood, all of West Point. FUNERAL services were conducted on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the West Point 3rd Ward. Bishop Herrick M. 25 Louis J. Graham, 76, of 1257 Binford Street, Ogden, died Sept. 17, 1983 at the St. Benedicts Hospital. in HE WAS born Oct. 31, 1906 Kaysville, a son of John Thomas and Eliza Lake DELBERT Graham. He married Lula Winget. She died in 1972. He married Ida Orton on Sept. 7, 1972 in DELL THURGOOD Elko, Nev. Drake officiated and con ducted. Christensen. HE HAD lived in Ogden the past 42 years. He had worked for the Ogden Union Railway and Depot Company, retiring m 1971. He was a member of the Mount Ogden LDS Ward. He was a member of the High Priest Quorum and was a home teacher. HE WAS a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a veteran of World win the West Point City Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons, Gary E. Manning, Dee T. Manning, Clair L. Christensen, Paul T. Christensen, David E. Christensen and Steven L. Christensen. Dies Of Injuries Mrs. Evalyn Yaunt Draper. 4b. of 3490 W. 1800 S West W eber. died of injuries at her home Monday. Sept. 19. 1983. HE HAD beem employed at the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot for a number of years. He was employed by the Davis County School District until the time of his retirement. Mr. Gailey was a resident of Syracuse. He was active in the Syracuse 1st Ward, served as a counselor in the bishopric, ward clerk and Sunday School Supt. He was a stake clerk, president of the Young Mens MIA, an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake life-lon- g and Ogden Temple for years. 14 HE HAD served an LDS mission to the Southern States and he and Mrs. Gailey served in the Cumorah Mission field in 1969-7- Surviving are one son and four daughters, Royce N. Gailey, Ogden; Mrs. Blaine (ReNae) Bodily, Clearfield; Mrs. Daryl (Nolene) Hodson and Mrs. Glen E. (Marvetta) Saunders, both of Clinton, and Mrs. James (Kathleen) Painter, Pocatello, Ida.; 25 grandchildren and 17 greatg- randchildren. ALSO surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Grant (Erma) Carl-seSanta Clara and Mrs. Marie R. The Syracuse 1st Ward Relief Society organization cared for the flowers, vsb Alvin William Crawley, 53, of 65 W. 1950 S Bountiful, died Monday, Sept. 12, 1983 of a heart attack in Jerome, Ida. Thomspon. He had served in the Marine Corps for the past year in the Artiltery Division, Echo Ba- ttery, 2nd Battalion, First Marine Division. HE HAD lived in Roy and Layton, attending Roy High School and Layton High School. He was a member of the Layton 29th LDS Ward. HE ENLISTED in the Marine Corps in July of 1982 and graduated Meritorious Marine from basic training at San Diego, Calif. He had been stationed for a year at Camp Pendleton. Surviving are his parents, Layton; one brother and two sisters, Christopher R. Thompson, Layton; Mrs. Clifford (Pattie) Price, Shelly Sue Thompson, all of Layton. ALSO SURVIVING are two grandmothers, Mrs. Ellen Adkins, Clearfield and Mrs. Betty Thompson, Roy. Funeral services were Saturday in Lindquists Clearfield Mortuary with Bishop Frank S. Blair officiating. INTERMENT was in Clearfield City Cemetery. Military honors were accorded by the Marine Corps Honor Guard. She was an active member of the West Weber 1st Ward where she had served as Relief Society visiting teacher, Relief Sociwelety welfare director and fare home management director. Dean and Mary Elen Belnap of Kaysville has received his Eagle Scout award at a special Court of Honor held on Friday, Sept, 17 at the Kaysville Tabernacle, DAVID scouting since moving to Kaysville in 1979. He has been senior patrol leader as well as president of the Deacons quorum and president of his Teachers quorum. He has been inducted into the "Order Summers, assistant ward clerks. Phillips, 1st sen, executive secretary; M. Gccring Succumbs At Age 79 Mrs. Margaret Mary Geering, 79, of 1221 Valhalla Drive, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1983 in a local nursing home. WAS a member of Troop 503 Kaysville 6th Ward: however the ward's division two months ago put him in Troop 521. He is the first scout to receive his Eagle award from the new Kaysville 21st Ward.
