State Fair and the Ice Capades. MRS. ROUECHE was born Sept. 13, 1898 in East Layton, the daughter of Andy W. and Harriet E. Adams. She attended schools in Davis County. She recalls riding her horse to school or walking over to Simpson's Hollow. She went by horse SHE HAS always loved music. She plays many of the e and modern tunes on her antique piano every day. She and her sister, Zella Adams Session of Clearfield, took turns playing in the Adams Orchestra when they were not dancing. Her brother, BENSON Hazen F. THE BRIDE wore a full-- : length gown of accordion ple- ated chantilly lace trimmed in ; dacron organza enhanced with a beaded motiff bodice and ; high ruffle collar with lace j around shoulder and to a V. 1 Narrow long sleeves and a cathedral train. Her veil was a crown of Chantilly lace and seed pearls. Her bouquet was made of silk pink roses and daisies with streamers of pink and burgundy ribbon. Susan K. Costley was maid of honor. Bonnie Turner, Jennifer Turner and Janene Steele were bridesmaids. They wore street length dresses of dusty rose georgette, full with fitted bodice and h quarter-lengt- sleeves. They held bouquets of silk pink roses and daisies with pink and burgundy ribbon. THE MOTHERS wore street dresses of burgundy georgette. Their corsages were pink silk roses with miniature burgundy flowers. Camile Dent w as the flower girl and Christopher Morgan was the flower boy. BEST MAN duties were performed by Jim Bagley. Ushers were Jonathan Turner, John Steele, David Steele, Brent Steele, Charles Turner II and James Steele II. Laura Larkins attended the guest book. FOLLOWING a honeymoon to Park City the newlyweds will reside in Ogden. Prenuptial parties were given by Linda Parke, Carrie Fagg, Carolyn Dent, Vanessa Clontz, Kay Costley, Kell Zebe and Julianne Baham. THE BRIDE is a Davis High graduate and graduate of We- ber State College Licensed practical nursing program. The groom is a Davis High graduate and is attending Weber State College. Parkhurst of 572 S. 350 E., Kaysville, has completed the basic field artillery cannoneer course at Fort Sill, Okla. DURING THE course, students were taught the duties of a howitzer or gun section crewman. They also received instruction in communications, maintenance and the handling of ammunition and explosives. VIDA ROUECHE on Sept. 16, 1960. After the death of her husband, she moved to the Adams home to take care of BILLIE BURNHAM her mother, Mrs. Andy attends all of the Senior ride horses. She rode fast Citizens group activites and is active in the LDS Church. She has been a Relief Society visiting teacher for many years. She loves to visit with friends through the hollows near the Adams home, a structure that is on the historical register, when she was young. Mrs. Roueche now lives in the family home. On June 4. 1923 she married Hollis Webb Roueche in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. MR. ROUECHE was injured while working for the railroad and was unable to work. Mrs. Roueche and her two sons. Wren and Darrel, had to help earn the living for the family. They all worked together. The family delivered the daily newspaper, rain or shine for over 25 years in the e area. She continued to deliver newspapers after her husband's death Layton-Kaysvill- Kaysville MRS. ROUECHE is very active. She drives her own car, MRS. ROUECHE loved to Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Slade and his brother Mrs. Chloe Slade were guests in Tooele on Wednesday of Captain and Mrs. Craig Thorsted and family. They went to be with Tyler Thorsted for his 2nd grade Grandparents Day held at the Harris Elementary School. Tyler is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Slade and the n of Mrs. Chloe Slade. Mrs. Linda Nance entertained at a stork shower at her home Thursday evening in honor of her niece Mrs. Judy Barker. Mrs. Jan Barker and Mrs. Fawn Morgan were assisting hostesses. Twenty guests attended. and relatives and play her piano for them. She loves to embroider and crochet. Mrs. Roueche is an excellent seamstress. She is proud of her family. Her sons. Wren and Darrel, both live in Layton. She has 10 grandchildren and II greatgrandchildren that all live in this area. MRS. ROUECHE is a good neighbor. She is dependable and always willing to help those in need. Knowlton, son of Mr, and Mrs. Franklin W. Knowlton. ETHAN AND Julie graduated from Layton High School and the Layton LDS Seminary. Ethan completed an LDS mission to the Canada Winnipeg Mission. Julie has been attending Weber State College and Ethan is attending the University of Utah. A December wedding is planned. Scoffield, Kaysville; Mr. and Mrs. Nate Scoffield, Clinton; and other relatives of the area attended the funeral service for Richard Scoffield on Sept. 12 at Henderson, Nev. His wife suffered a heart attack on Sunday while visiting her husband before his death and was unable to attend the funeral. Mr. Scoffield was a father of seven children and a former Kaysville resident, the son of Mrs. Crilla Scoffield. Mrs. Goldie Ball accompa- nied her sister Mrs. Lillian Henley of Ogden to Seattle, Wash, where they spent two weeks with their sister Mrs. Hazel Dowling who is ill and had been in the hospital.
