HE IS the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cottrell of 564 South Main, Kaysville. He will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Dec. 17. ELDER COTTRELLS mission farewell will be held Sunday, Dec. 13 in the Kaysville 11th LDS Ward at 9 a.m. in the Kaysville South Stake Center, 870 South Main. He graduated from Davis High School where he was active in athletics both football and baseball. ELDER BROWN Elder Kevin C. Brown, son of D. Clark and Pauline Brown, 1105 E. Cambridge Road, Kaysville, has accepted a mission call to serve in the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Mission. HIS FAREWELL will be held Dec. 13 at 8:30a.m. in the Kaysville 10th Ward, Crest-woo- d Chapel. He will enter the MTC on Dec. 17. He is a graduate of Davis High School and Seminary. HE WORKED in Rock Springs, Wyo. last year and is now vice president of a consulting firm in Salt Lake City. There will be an open house at their home Saturday, Dec. 12 from p.m. 6-- 9 ELDER NASH Bradley F. Nash, son of Blaine and Sandra Nash of Layton, has accepted a call to the Switzerland, Geneva Mission. He will enter the MTC on Dec. 31. HIS FAREWELL will be held on Dec. 13, at 9 a.m., in the Holmes Creek Stake Center at 125 Chapel St. Elder Nash is a graduate of Layton High School and Seminary. HE WAS a member of the Laytones and Acapella choir. He is presently employed at Albertsons in Layton. He has been active in his church activities and held leadership positions in his priesthood quorums. HE ATTENDED Weber State College majoring in engineering. He was employed during the summer with the Utah Highway Department as a surveyor. He has received his Duty to God and "On My Honor" awards and is a four year graduate of the Kaysville LDS Seminary, np Back From LDS Mission Suzanne Law will report on her Bogota, Columbia Mission Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. She is the daughter of Pres, and Mrs. Newell J. Law of the Kaysville South Stake. SL'ZANNE graduated from Ricks College as a registered nurse. Prior to her departure she worked in the emergency room at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. She is a graduate of Davis High and a member of the National Honor Society. Awarded Eagle ftPTT Johnson. It will be sung by the combined sanctuary choirs from the Clearfield Community Church and First Baptist Church of Salt Lake City. The Clearfield performance will be held Sunday at the Community Church at 1 1 a.m. and the 55 voices will present the cantata at First Baptist on Dec. 20 at the 1 1 a.m. worship service. LAYTON -- The St. Rose of the Sponsors for Santa Program. NEEDY families from throughout Davis County are helped at Christmas time through this program. Ave., Layton, received his Eagle Scout Award at a special Court of Honor held Dec. 2 in the Layton 30th LDS Ward. KENNETH is a senior at Layton High School. He has been active in scouting for many years, serving as the senior patrol leader and as troop scribe. Help With Santa Aid Lima Catholic Church in Layton is again this year helping the Community Action Program of Davis County with Kenneth Ferbrache, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dilworth J. Ferbrache of 1210 N. Emerald Donations of food, workable, clean toys and money can be taken to the church anytime between now and Dec. 20. All toys should be in good condition. No repair work is done on items donated. FOR MORE information about the program contact the Community Action Program in Farmington or the St. Rose of Lima Church in Layton, dmg DeWayne Thorne is convalescing at home after being confined to the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. Holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Morton were: Mr. and Mrs. Scott Morton and family; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Beecher and family; and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Criddle and family, all of Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Linford entertained at a family dinner at their home for guests Mr. and Mrs. James Elder, St. Johns, Ariz. ; Mr. and Mrs. John Linford and family, Broomfield, Colo.; Dr. and FOR HIS Eagle project, Kenneth placed a fence around the Cherry Lane LDS Chapel. His church activities center around basketball, baseball and scouting. Mrs. Keith Linford and family, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Steven Holt and family, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kelson, Torrance, Calif.; and Blaine Holiday, Broomfield, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Stan Morton and children of Idaho Falls, Ida. were guests of his mother, Mrs. Francis Morton. AT LAYTON High School. Kenneth is involved in the drama program. He was a member of the school football team. Kenneth is a member of Scout Troop 459 sponsored by the LDS Layton 30th Ward. Dan Thomas is the scoutmaster.
