A wedding breakfast hosted by the groom's parents was held at the Red Flame in Bountiful. A wedding reception was held later that evening in the Kaysville 16th Ward cultural hall. GOLDEN AND Verla were married Aug. 31, 1931. They have one daughter, Linda, and Phillip Leonard. They have six grandchildren. They enjoy working in their beautiful yard, attending the temple, traveling with friends, and being with their grandchildren. He owned and operated a ranch in west Kaysville raising Hereford cattle. Verla was employed with the school lunch program and Booth Packing Co. Golden E. (Pete) and Mary Verla Sandall Smith will cele- brate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 31. They have resided in Kaysville all their lives.
