THE BRIDE is the daughter of Edward Skeens, Dayton, Ohio, and Alice S. Skeens, Cleveland, Ohio. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. LaVar S. Abrams of Layton. They e filled a mission for the LDS Church in Texas in 1975-7and Mr. Schow spent two years as a Ogden Temple workei. He is a high priest in the L.ivton W est Stake and is currently in the stake Sunday School presidency. Mrs Schow has been actively involved in the Piimary, served as bridesmaid. About 150 teenage girls and their advisors spent July camping out and learning skills at the Lyman Lake Camp in the high Uintas. Mr. and Mrs. Quayle Dut-so- n and their family have recently moved from Bountiful to Layton. Young Erin Ford is recovering from a broken leg she received as a result of a fall from some playground equipment. She broke her leg just one week before the family left Layton to spend one year on a TDY assignment in Montana. They enjoyed many things but the boys found the water and the swing over the water the best of the activities at the popular camp. After their training camp sessions were over they were joined by their wives. The Layton couples enjoyed vacationing in Tacoma and Seattle, Wash, before returning home by way of Idaho. They stopped at the Neil Adams ranch near Burley en route to Layton. Mrs. Judith WTlson's sister. Mrs. Eve Carlsruth, took care of the three Wilson children while their parents were away. On Sunday . family members met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Adams to celebrate the birthday of Alesia Wilson. The party was hosted by Mrs. Eve Carlsruth. Mrs. Harris (Ethel) Adams is attending a special school in Virginia. She will be away from home for about five months. Members of the OFT Club met Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Delma Bushnell in Clearfield.
