Snowcreek Drive, Layton passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 1981 in a local hospital. SHE WAS born Sept. 14, 1941 in Oakland, Calif., I a daughter of Morris 1. and Paula Lee Alba Maxwell. On April 10, 1964,shewas married toG. Roger Nalder in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Nalder was raised in the Salt Lake City and Granger area. She had lived in Layton for the past 16 years. She was a graduate of Granger High School. MEMBER of the Layton 22nd Ward, she had served in the Primary presidency and in the Relief Society. She had been a Primary teacher. She had w'orked with her father in the supermarket business for several years in Salt Lake City in the meat depart A ment. She had been a voter registration agent for East Layton. SURVIVING are her husband, Layton; two sons and one daughter, Jason R. Nalder, Sterling M. Nalder and April Dawn Nalder, all of Layton. Also surviving are her mother. West Valley City; her father, Salt Lake City; three brothers and three sisters, Morris Lee Maxwell, Hunter; Ralph P. Maxwell, Salt Lake City; Clair A. Farley, Dallas, Tex.; Sharon Maxwell, Bountiful; Karen Lee Schofield, Mount Pleasant; and Shirley D. Middleton, Salt Lake City. FUNERAL services were held Tuesday, Feb. 24 in the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Larry G. Burdett of the Layton 22nd Ward officiating. Interment was in the Memorial Park. Ira Mower, 64 Dies At Home Of Heart Failure Ira L. Mower, 64, of 66 Sunset Drive, Layton died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1981 at his home of heart failure. HE WAS born March 22, 1916 in Fairview, Utah, a son of Hyrum Deloss and Catherine Ann Mills Mower. On June 4, 1937, he was married to Betty Baxendale in the Manti LDS Temple. He had been employed by the Marveon Sign Co. He was reared in Fairview and had lived in Salt Lake City and Ogden before moving to Layton eight years ago. He was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. MR. MOWER was a member of the Layton 28th Ward. He had been a counselor in the MIA, a scoutmaster and a stake missionary. He was a high priest. Surviving are his widow, Layton; one son, Ronald Ira Mower, Anaheim, Calif.; two daughters, Ranae M. Nuttall, Layton; Mrs. Ray (Jolene M.) Johnson, Roy; nine grandchildren. ALSO surviving are three brothers and four sisters, Ross Mower, Alvin Mower, both of San Bernardino, Calif.; Ralph Mower, Yucaipa, Calif.; Mrs. Vernon (Pearl) Hatch, Richfield, Utah; Catherine Simmons, Mrs. Delbert (Leora) Johanson, boh of Provo; Mrs. Leonard (Lorraine) Spencer, Ogden. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 25 at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop S. Clair Bankhead of the Layton 28th Ward officiating. INTERMENT was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral services for Christ- opher Lotito, 89, of 1694 Luke, Layton were held Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Shimunek in Baltimore, Md. Mr. Lotito died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1981 in a Bountiful nursing home. He owned and operated Chris Cafe in Baltimore. 1981 Funeral Home HE W AS born Feb. 17, 1892 in Bari, Italy. He was married to Jennie Conte in 1914 in Baltimore, Md. She died August 1970. Mr. Lotito was reared in Italy. He lived in Baltimore for 62 years and in Layton for the past 11 years. Fie had been Services Held For Ruth H. Schick Mrs. Ruth Harvey Schick, of Kaysville died Feb. 23, 1981 in the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. She was born June 2, 1901 in Kaysville, a daughter of James S. and Mary Bosworth Harvey. 79, ON MAY 14, 1928 she mar- ried George Schick. He died Feb. 1, 1981. Mrs. Schick had been an ac- tive member of the LDS Church and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. SURVIVING are two sons and six daughters, George H. Schick, Fruit Heights; Seth H. Schick, Peterson, Ut.; Mrs. Billy (Alice) Rietz, Walla Walla, Wash.; Mrs. Dix (Ruth) Cloward, Mrs. Bryce (Dorothy) Obray, both Ogden; Mrs. Karl (Susie) Zobell, Sandy; Mrs. Mary Wallace, Concord, Calif.; Mrs. Frank (Kay) Moore, Kaysville; 29 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, James B. Harvey, Salt Lake City; Ray B. Harvey, Kaysville; Mrs. Edmond (Mary) Phelps, Fruit Heights. of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic HE WAS A member Church in Layton and a member of the Sons of Italy in Baltimore. Surviving are one son, Nicholas C. Lotito, Layton; two grandchildren, Nicholas C. Lotito Jr Layton; and Patricia Lotito, Kaysville. INTERMENT was in the Lorraine Park Cemetery in Baltimore. Members of the Francis Peak Gem and Mineral Society listened to a guest lecturer give a slide and lecture presentation on minerals of Utah. The activity was part of the club's monthly meeting held on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Claudine Rasmussen, Ogden, was the guest of honor at a birthday luncheon given by Mrs. Diatra Wilko. Michael M. Jones, cubmaster, and Jim Richards, committee chairman, was in charge of the evening program. THE SCOUTS made the invitiations and decorations for the tables with assistance from den leaders. The dinner was enjoyed by more than 100 cub scouts, leaders and guests. The Good Company Band" furnished the entertainment. Awards were given to Shane Holbrook, Korey Nance and Kody Thurgood. Turner of Sioux City, Iowa have been here for a week visiting at the home of their and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. Kelly Hansen. Before returning to their home they travelled to Los Angeles, Calif, for the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Briggs of Syracuse and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hansen of Salt Lake City have returned home from a trip that took them to New Zealand and Australia. They spent a week in Hawaii and were gone a month. Mrs. Briggs and Mrs. Hansen are sisters.
