JASON FARR CARRIE KAY HENDERSON Words like manifold and carburetor took on new meaning for those who attended a recent LDS Special Interests Car Clinic held recently in Kaysville under direction of Richard Brent Weaver. CAR CLINIC A Car Clinic for the Special Interest group of the Kaysville Utah East LDS Stake was held Saturday, May 19, at the Stake Center. THE CLINIC is to provide a minor tuneup service to those who need assistance from qualified mechanics. The , mechanics donate their time and services to the Special Interest groups with Paul Bennett of Kaysville from Ford Co. Rick Warner providing the needed parts at cost to those who participated in the program. The four hour clinic from 7 to 11 a.m. serviced 18 cars which is a tremendous help and service to those who are alone. THE CLINIC was under the direction of mechanic Richard Weaver with Floyd Morgan from the stake high in council charge of arrangements. This is an annual project Sponsored by the Kaysville UtanTSast LDS Stake and has been in erfect for several years. Honoring Crestview Elementary HOPE OF AMERICA Three Crestview Elementary School students recently received Hope of America awards from the Layton Kiwanis Club. THE SIXTH graders are Nancy Roberts, Annemarie Barlow and Keith Crofts. Presenting the award is Kiwanis Club president, Bruce Barton. Also pictured is Dixon Reisbeck of the Kiwanis, and Keith Brimhall, n Crestview principal. The Hope of America award is given to students who show a capacity for leadership and ethical and moral character and outstanding academic accomplishment.
